Xperia Z comes with Battery Stamina Mode, which improve standby time by 4 times or more by repeatedly shutting down battery-draining apps while the screen is off and starting them again once the screen is back on, according to the company.
Xperia comes with Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. It has anti-shatter glass on front and back. The smartphone is water and dust-resistant.
The smartphone is likely to launch in the first quarter of 2013. The company has not exposed the phone’s pricing details.
