Lenovo unveils 27-inch touchscreen IdeaCenter Horizon Table PC.

Lenovo IdeaCenter Horizon Table PCLas Vegas: On Sunday, Lenovo has unveiled 27-inch touchscreen IdeaCenter Horizon Table PC at CES 2013, which the company is touting as a multi-personal PC running on Windows 8.

The IdeaCenter Horizon Table PC will be powered by Nvidia’s GeForce graphics processor together with an Intel Core i7 processor.

The Table PC will comprise plastic ‘strikers’ for ‘Air Hockey,’ and joysticks that attach to the screen with suction cups for other games, comprising multiplayer shooter ‘Raiding Company.’

Lenovo director of global marketing Dee Kumar said that “It’s definitely a new category; the world’s first home table personal computer. This can be a full-power 27-inch PC, but at the same time we want families using this device.”

Lenovo, a Chinese company that owns IBM Corp.’s earlier PC business, said that the Table PC will go on sale this summer starting at $1,699.
