Director of Porsche India, Anil Reddi said that “I am pleased to announce the arrival of the new 911 Carrera, the seventh generation of this sports car icon, as well as the new Boxster S which was unveiled globally earlier this year.”
The all new 911 Carrera S comes with a 6-cylinder, 3.8-litre engine mounted at its rear and is capable of delivering a power as high as 400 bhp. The car has a massive acceleration and can reach a speed of 100 kmph starting from 0 in just 4.3 seconds.
The engine of the 911 Carrera comes mated to the world’s first seven speed manual transmission or the automatic 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK). The car has a lightweight body and comes with the latest electro-mechanical power steering and is packed with lots of advanced features.
On the other hand, Boxster S comes powered by a mid-mounted 3.4 litre 6-cylinder engine equipped churning out a maximum power of 315 bhp. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5 seconds. This classical open-top two seater has undergone a lot of changes and is more attractive, lighter and more fuel efficient now.
