LG officially launched Optimus L9 smartphone at Rs 22,000.

LG optimus L9Korean consumer electronics major LG has officially announced the launch of the Optimus L9 smartphone in the Indian market. The LG Optimus L9 is a mid-range Android smartphone, priced at Rs 22,000.

In the Optimus L9, LG has introduced a new user interface Innovote UX, which has the QTranslator feature that can perform simple scan to translate function for regarding 64 user languages and 44 foreign languages.

Using the Optical Character Recognition technology, the QTranslator can read the text confined by device’s camera and then can translate it into the desired language.

As well, it has My Style Keypad function with the new QMemo feature that allows taking notes or scribbling on the screen on the lock screen or anywhere in the user interface.

LG Optimus L9 comes with the L-Styling design. It is about 9.1 mm thick and this has metallic rims at its sides and has modern square styling.

The LG L9 has features 1 GHz dual-core mobile processors with 1 GB RAM that run on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. At the back lies a 5 megapixel camera with LED Flash and auto focus. Also there is a VGA camera in the front for video calls.
