A top game development studio, Arkadium announced that together with Microsoft Studios it has redesigned three classic games for the imminent Windows 8 OS, in addition to launching the innovative new puzzle game, Taptiles.
Arkadium’s new versions of Solitaire Collection, Minesweeper and Mahjongg games have been optimized for touch devices and offer customized content and latest modes of play. Taptiles, a 3D puzzle game, also now joins the lineup of classics.
Co-founder and CEO of Arkadium, Kenny Rosenblatt said that “These are the first games we are releasing as part of the multi-year, multi-game partnership with Microsoft Studios that we announced in January.”
He added that “We have taken strong evergreen titles and worked on transforming them into new experiences that make game play even more addictive and fun. And just as the previous classics pioneered gaming for desktops, we’re excited to launch Taptiles, a new game destined to become a classic for next generation touch devices.”
Microsoft Studios announced their portfolio of Xbox games for Windows 8 on August 31st, and persists to deliver an innovative mix of fun-to-play titles, all of which can be played on any PC, laptop or tablet with Windows 8.
