The tablet, which offers built-in support for cellular networks and 32GB of storage, will be available in Canada starting on August 9 from Bell, Rogers, and Telus.
David Smith, executive vice president of RIM, said in a statement that “We’re excited to bring customers the first BlackBerry PlayBook tablet with support for 4G LTE networks.”
The LTE PlayBook will have a 1.5GHz processor, a 7-inch 1024 x 600 screen, and 5-megapixel rear-facing and 3-megapixel forward-facing camera, the reports said.
According to the reports, the LTE Playbook will only be available in the 32GB size, and will have microSD expansion if you need a bit more storage to hold your data.
No pricing data is presently available for the latest version of the tablet.
