2012 London Olympics Day 8: Saina wins bronze as Xin Wang retired from play-off.

Saina NehwalLondon: Badminton: Saina Nehwal on Saturday created history by becoming the first Indian to triumph an Olympic Games bronze medal in badminton, while under accidental circumstances, as her world No 2 Chinese opponent Xin Wang retired from the play-off due to a knee injury.

Tennis: India`s tennis campaign at  London Games 2012 came to an end Saturday after the mixed doubles pair of Leander Paes and Sania Mirza lost their quarterfinal match at the Wimbledon.
