Nokia launched three low-budget Asha series.

Nokia Asha seriesOn Wednesday, Nokia announced the launch of three low budget touch-screen phones as part of the Asha series. The three latest phone models are the Nokia Asha 305, Nokia Asha 306 and Nokia Asha 311.

Nokia put up official press statement, highlighting the features of the phones which do appear to have cool gaming features, making them a pretty option for users who’re not planning to pay too much on a phone.

Nokia Asha 311 has a 3 inch, scratch resistant capacitive glass screen with polarisation filters to guarantee better visibility in sunlight. It also has a 1GHz processor, 3.5 Internet capabilities and 3.2 megapixel camera. Nokia Asha 311 also comes with 15 levels of Angry Birds pre-loaded onto the phone.

Nokia Asha 305 is a low-cost dual SIM whereas Nokia Asha 306 is hyped as the cheapest Wi-Fi handset to date. Both phones have GPRS/Edge Internet capabilities, 2 mega-pixel camera, Nokia maps and Nokia Life. Asha 306 also supports video streaming through both GPRS and Wi-fi.

Buyers for all three phones will get 40 EA games for free to download, which comprises Tetris, Bejeweled, Need for Speed, The Run and FIFA 12.

The Indian prices for the devices have not been released. The devices will be available by October this year.
