Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia’s biopic ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, which has been receiving rant reviews from all quarters, has had a civilized begin in its opening weekend with earnings amounting to Rs.4.25 crore.
Made at an inadequate budget of Rs.4.5 crore, the film observer a deliberate begins as it earned merely Rs.85 lakh Friday. But, the response enhanced over Saturday and Sunday with collections of Rs.1.4 crore and Rs.2 crore, respectively, according to trade analyst.
Starring Irrfan in the lead, the film trails the real-life story of national level athlete Paan Singh Tomar, who persists to become one of the most fears dacoits of Chambal Valley.
