Top 10 Indians on the lists of Forbes under-30 achievers.

ForbesMumbai: An Indian is feeling proud with the likes of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and pop star Lady Gaga as one of the top achievers in the world under the age of 30.

The 29-year-old Kunal Shah, Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, is one of the 10 Indians on the Forbes list of under-30 achievers after he became the firm’s youngest Managing Director at 27 last year.

A promotion to the post of a MD before 30 is exceptional at Goldman Sachs, the most profitable securities firm in Wall Street history. Shah is a rising markets trader for Goldman in London.

The Cambridge math graduate tied Goldman in 2004, analysing interest rate products, before deal on the global macro desk, according to Forbes.

In finance, Forbes has also aspect Vikas Mohindra, 25, financial advisor at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Broker gathered $38 million in three years from scratch, the reports said.

The 28-year-old Artist JR, who makes large scale guerrilla photo installations, film producer David Ellison, the son of Oracle CEO Larry Ellison who has funded films like ‘True Grit’, and the imminent Brad Pitt movie ‘World War Z’, also made the “Under 30″ list of people in 12 categories.
While, Winemaker Gavin Chanin, 25, who has been making wines since he was 21, has earned high ratings with his Chanin Wines.

Forbes Executive Editor Michael Noer said in a statement that “While many on this list are well-known, others like Danielle Fong, a Canadian-born science prodigy who entered a Princeton PhD programme at age 17 before founding alternative energy company Lightsail at 20, are just getting their first taste of the limelight.”

He added that “But it is nearly certain that we will all be hearing much more from them in the decades to come.”

Other categories integrated art & design, energy, food & wine, media, social/mobile and technology, which integrated Peter Cashmore, the founder and CEO of the tech news site Mashable.
