New Delhi: Tata Communications is betting huge on cloud technology which is assist clients to boost productivity and cut costs on the back of solutions for instance Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and e-mail, the sources said.
Tata Communications Vice President Mukul Sood said that “From just being a topic of discussion, we are now seeing deployment happening. Customers are excited about not just the cost saving but also the efficiency that cloud offers.”
Cloud worked out help sharing of technological resources, software and digital information. It functions on a pay-per-use model, helping companies to cut costs as they do not have to endow seriously in infrastructure.
However, Sood did not comment on any financial information. Tata Communications, in joint venture with SuccessFactors, has launched Human Capital Management (HCM) elucidation as part of its software-as-a-service (SaaS) portfolio.
Sood said that “Talent retention, a productive workforce, business alignment and employee development are key areas of focus for any enterprise. Development and implementation of dedicated HR tools to address these issues is becoming increasingly important for enterprises that want to harness human resource intelligence to empower employees.”
The company also presents a cloud-based solution for worldwide contact centre industry. Intelligent Call Routing (ICR) and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) products recommend an included solution for routing and distributing calls across multi-geography and multi-site call centres.
For the quarter ended Sept 2011, the company’s gross revenue augmented concerning 14 per cent to Rs 3,374 crore from Rs 2,961 crore in the similar period last year.
