Stuart MacGill gave his name for IPL’s players’ auction.

Stuart MacGillMelbourne: Ex-Australian leg-spinner Stuart MacGill has given his name for the rewarding IPL’s players’ auction next year.

MacGill appeared of retirement this month to play for the Sydney Sixers in Australia’s domestic T20 league, Big Bash.

The 40-year-old MacGill considered that with a triumphant return with the Sydney Sixers, he can deliver in the IPL if someone is eager to pick him up.

MacGill retired in 2008 after anguish carpal tunnel syndrome and previous played a T20 match for English country side Nottinghamshire in 2003.

After an eight-year break from T20 cricket, MacGill tied teammate Shane Warne and other Australian players’ appearance of retirement to play in the Big Bash tournament.
