Mumbai: Before Anna Hazare’s appearance in Mumbai to launch his three-day fast for a strong Lokpal Bill, the Maharashtra government has prepared the fast venue by organized 2000 police constables and 200 sub-inspectors of police.
Hazare would be leaving Ralegan Siddhi on Monday afternoon and is expected to reach Mumbai by late evening.
The security at the ground of Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA) in suburban Bandra-Kurla Complex will include 2,000 constables, 200 sub-inspectors of police, six squads of state aloofness police force, three teams of Quick Response Team and two Bomb Detection and Disposal Squads.
The ground will have 6 emergency exits, 16 fire extinguishers and 6 metal detector units, moreover round-the-clock ambulance services.
Hazare would be preliminary the fast at 11am tomorrow. Before Parliament debate on Lokpal Bill, Team Anna had yesterday shot off an open letter to PM Manmohan Singh and MPs wanting endorsement of real and best possible anti-corruption law which should also offer for an independent analytical wing for the ombudsman.
