Electronic Arts (EA) has released first extension pack for Battlefield 3. The extension pack is called ‘Back to Karkand’ and is accessible to download now on the PS3. Battlefield gamers on the Xbox 360 and PC will have to wait until December 13 to get the pack.
DICE and EA released this game with a new feature for the Battlefield franchise, Assignments (full list), challenges players to unlock weapons in a different way.
The release includes four mastered maps from preceding Battlefield titles using the Frostbite 2 engines. The maps are ‘Strike at Karkand’, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula.
There’s also a fresh Conquest Assault game mode with addition of 10 weapons and four vehicles. One vehicle is bulldozers, which will certainly assurance some epic triumph and a larger amount of epic fail.
Players who pre-ordered the game or buy the limited edition will be capable of download ‘Back to Karkand’ for free; otherwise it will cost £11.99.
