Galaxy Note comes with a larger 5.3-inch high-definition touch-screen display. It is equipped with faster 1.4GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS and a long-lasting battery.
“Galaxy Note will work as both a tablet PC and a mobile handset…it is a product that seeks to open a new category in the mobile industry. The Smart Pen interface allows users to sketch, write, create and share more than ever before from one device,” Samsung India Country Head (Mobile and IT) Ranjit Yadav told the reporters.
Yadav said that latest phone was aimed at executives, professionals and creative people, mainly those engaged in film industry, advertising, fashion designing and architecture. It redefines and develops the mobile communication by offering a more advanced, productive and creative user experience than ever before.
Samsung also announced the launch of ‘S Choice’, a new category menu under the Samsung Apps, with applications particularly designed for Galaxy Note’s Smart Pen feature. Galaxy Note launched with the price tag of Rs 34, 990.
