While the company did not disclose any details about an official launch date, but sources indicate towards a November 25th launch.
According to BGR India, the iPhone 4S, the 16GB variant will retail as close to Rs 40,000. The top of the line 64GB variant will most be expected to cross the Rs 50,000 mark.
The iPhone 4S features a dual-core processor, an 8 mega pixel camera and also a revolutionary artificial intelligence based personal assistant called Siri, which works via voice recognition. The iPhone 4S has a new operating system, iOS 5, as well but that will be available for older iPhones as well.
Earlier, Aircel had released the iPhone 4 in May after the phone had already been available worldwide for almost a year.
