Karnataka HC deferred bail plea of Yeddyurappa till Oct 20.

BS YeddyurappaBangalore: Karnataka high court has deferred the bail plea hearing of former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa, arrested in connection with 2 corruption cases till October 20.

According to the reports, he will be back in jail today as the doctors said that he had no heart illness. Lawyers for BJP leader filed two petitions in the court on Monday, one for interim bail and another for regular bail and requested they be heard on Tuesday.

While arrested on Saturday and sent to judicial custody till on October 22, Yeddyurappa spent only some hours behind bars at the Bangalore’s mail jail in Parappana Agrahara.

He was shifted from jail early on Sunday to Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research after he complained of chest pain.

Former CM was arrested after special Lokayukta court judge N Sudhindra Rao rejected bail on Saturday in two of the five cases corruption and illicit land deals filed against Yeddyurappa by 2 Bangalore advocates.
