It features a NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor, Abobe Flash, 10 finger multi-touch support and utilities including ASUS Waveface and Polaris Office 3.
ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih revealed some more details about the new tablet at the AsiaD event in Hong Kong. Nvidia’s imminent ‘Kal-El’ quad-core processor looks to be in the cards.
Kal-El will include a 12-core GPU, which Nvidia says will offer 3 times the performance of Tegra 2 (used in the current Transformer), along with some other developments. There will also be a 10” display, at least one USB port, and a mini-HDMI output.
On the software front, it looks like the new Eee Pad will ship with the brand new Android 4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich” operating system, as expected.
