Will India triumph last match as consolation?

India vs England 5th ODILondon: India and England will be up against each other in the final match of the five-match One Day International (ODI) series at the Sophia Gardens, Cardiff on today. England has already sealed the series by winning 2 matches; one match was abandoned due to rain, while 4th ODI was tied between 2 teams.

However, India will be playing for pride and the Men in Blue will be looking for a consolation triumph over the home team as they are yet to beat them on the tour.

The performance of the Indian fast bowlers has been unsatisfactory on the tour thus far, with an exception of Praveen Kumar. A number of cricket analysts have criticized the Indian team management for not giving a chance to a young fast bowler like Varun Aaron, although the senior fast bowlers have failed to amaze in conditions which were helpful for the seam bowling.

On the other hand, Ian Bell and Ravi Bopara form a powerful-looking and they performed well last time out. Bopara, with 96, was particularly striking.

While Cook signal that their struggles were no concern to us, he could at least sympathize with the situation their squad now found themselves in.
