New Delhi: Nokia has expanded its mobile portfolio in the country with the accumulation of Nokia 101 dual SIM music and Nokia 100 single SIM phones in India. The Nokia 101 is the company’s 5th dual SIM phone in the Indian market.
Nokia 100, a basic handset for calls and sending text messages, features a color display with a grid-based menu system and an FM radio.
Nokia 101 has dual SIM device, allows users to connect to 2 different networks to receive calls and messages. It also has an FM radio, included MP3 player and supports 16 GB microSD memory cards.
Both the phones come with Nokia Life Tools and Nokia Money for immediate access to locally-relevant information on healthcare, education, agriculture, and entertainment.
V Ramnath, Director, Sales Nokia India said that “Increasingly mobile phones are perceived as an investment by the entry consumers in India. People are looking for a phone that offers simplicity, functional features, durability and great value for money,”
He added that “When paired with powerful and locally relevant services such as Nokia Life Tools and Nokia Money, the Nokia 101 and Nokia 100 offer a unique experience that is simply unmatched in India at these price points.”
Nokia 101 will be available in the next few weeks for Rs 1699. The phone will come in Black and Red colors. Nokia 100 will be available starting October for Rs 1399.
