The cheaper Motorola Fire handset comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) touchscreen, Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset with 600 MHz processor, Adreno 200 GPU and 256 MB RAM.
With a 3-megapixel back camera, the Fire is set for capturing regular stills and videos, beside connectivity options like Wi-Fi b/g/n and HSPDA support, FM radio, GPS, and full four-row physical QWERTY portrait keyboard.
The Motorola Fire XT is free of the QWERTY but offers a larger 3.5-inch HVGA (480 x 320 pixels) touchscreen, still has a Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset with a faster 800 MHz processor, Adreno 200 graphics and 512 MB RAM.
With all internal specs alike to the Fire, the only other contrast is the improved 5-megpixel autofocus back camera.
The Motorola Fire costs Rs 9900 and the Fire XT comes with a price tag of Rs 13990, with both devices now available in India.
