Mere Brother Ki Dulhan collected Rs. 25.75 crore (all-India net collections) on its 1st weekend at the box-office. The Karina Kaif-Imran Khan starrer was off to a flying start on Friday, September 9.
It made Rs. 7.50 crore on the opening day. The collections picked up by a good 20% on Saturday taking that day’s final tally to Rs. 8.75 crore. On Sunday, the film deals with another Rs. 9.50 crore at the box-office, taking 1st its first weekend’s total collections to Rs. 25.75 crore.
The movie saw occupancy of about 80-85 per cent at multiplexes on Friday and is expected to do well over the weekend too given its youth appeal.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is concerning a very confused man Imran Khan who is fascinated by the girl who is going to be his brother’s bride. While the brother too hasn’t actually met the girl for any significant time and just chatted on net for a few minute, Imran knew the girl for quite some time.
