Oval: India starts Day 4 of the final cricket test against England on Sunday at Oval, with very little hope on their side. Indians struggling and like it was considered they went down and then followed on.
Indian batsman Rahul Dravid (146), who opened the innings and was playing till the last Indian wicket fell. He scored a superb century and proved that there is no substitute for him.
With the help of lower order batsmen assist India managed to score 300 runs although it was not enough to keep the follow on. Amit Mishra was the one who scored 47 runs.
In the 2nd innings India started off for the 1st time without losing wicket in the beginning. But unfortunetly, India lose Rahul Dravid after a controversial decision by the third umpire.
On the other hand, Virender Sehwag was looking good for a big innings although he lost his wicket for 13 runs. Once again India was reeling at 64 for 2 and Tendulkar was out in the middle with VVS Laxman. Other than Laxman lost his wicket to Anderson as he was clean bowled.
At day end Tendulkar and Amit Mishra were on the crease as India was strikes at 129 for 3. There is still one day to play in the final test match and it will be difficult for the Indian team to save this test match.
