Apple plan to launch a mobile Web-based store.

apple app storeDallas: Apple is allegedly looking to launch a mobile Web-based store that promises to be more user-friendly than the existing Apple Store app, according to 9To5Mac.

According to the reports, the new store would ‘mimic’ the Apple Store App although would be simpler and more accessible and allow online shoppers more easily download software and buy other Apple products on the go. The new store would be accessed directly through mobile Safari.

The existing Apple Store app tries to imitate the experience in a physical Apple Store, letting people search for, browse and buy a range of products from Macs to iPhones to iPads to iPods.

Apple has also offered a special Starbucks section of the iTunes Music Store featuring coffee chain-curated music picks. This emerges when users of Apple’s mobile devices use the chain’s Wi-Fi network.
