The South African cheerleader Gabriella Pasqualotto was fired for blogging about engaging behaviour of players at IPL post-match parties and on Wednesday said on Twitter what she wrote was taken too fatally.
Pasqualotto, who was employed by Mumbai Indians said that “all eyes are on you all the time; it is complete voyeurism. The women double take, see you and then pretend you do not exist. The men see your face, then your boobs, your butt, and then your boobs again! As we walk, all you hear is ‘IPL, IPL!’ with a little head jingle!”
Her blog came under the scanner after a man cheerleader gossip about it to the Mumbai Indians players. One of them, an Aussie who had a responsible ethics according to Pasqualotto and she was complained to the IPL chairman, who brought her India break to a swift end, depriving her of a month’s earnings for her carelessness.
Pasqualotto gave a clean chit to the Indians who favoured the company of ‘dark corners’ rather than attractive cheerleaders, she also said that “The few Indian players we have met, such as MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma have been very polite and keep to themselves in the dark corners.”
