12 Angry Men presented by Collingswood Community Theatre: Not targeted towards youthful children.

12 Angry MenThe Collingswood Community Theatre will present its production of the drama that “12 Angry Men” at 7:30 pm, on July 29-31 in the Collingswood Senior Community Center.

The tensions flame between the 12 jurors picked to choose the verdict of a young man on trial for murdering his father, in this courtroom drama. Though many of the theater’s summer productions have been either children’s plays or comedies, this will be the theater’s 1st drama production of the summer.

The stage is set before the spectators enter the courtroom. “Newsboys” hawk the newest edition of the “newspaper” on the street outside the court. The background of the case is mean out on the front page of the paper.

The schedule of the performance of 12 Angry Men: July 7 – July 18–Wednesday through Saturday Evenings at 8:00 pm and Matinees at 2:00 pm; July 21 – July 25 –Extension Week of Performances Please note differences: Wednesday through Sunday Evenings at 8:00 pm and Matinees at 2:00 pm.

The Director Mary Baldwin said that “We did Steel Magnolia last year.  We wanted to try something different this time”. Distinct most of the theater’s summer productions, this one are not targeted towards youthful children. Tickets will be available at the door for $10. So, don’t miss it!
